PROFILE

A leader with a high level of organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage time effectively. Is both experienced and comfortable to work with minimal supervision and also has a proven capacity to engage as a member of a team. Has a demonstrated history of high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including the ability to draft and present speeches. Is confident and experienced in liaising effectively with Government Departments, business and community organisations. A person with a keen empathy and understanding of communities and their issues, thus enabling an effective and proactive approach. Has had extensive participation at all levels of local, regional, state and commonwealth decision making bodies, particularly in natural resource and environmental management. Strong believer that effective solutions are achieved by adopting a cooperative and outcome oriented approach with the community. Extensive experience in urban/rural extension programs and mediation. Has well developed analytical skills and has undertaken research for various projects either for own presentation or in order to provide advice to leaders. Is professional in all aspects of presentation and appearance.
