As the principal of Robinson Consulting, Pam has made important contributions to the Natural Resources Debate. Her review of Dryland Salinity Issues made a substantial difference to the affected communities and had a lasting positive impact on outcomes for all involved.

Pam received the Australia Day 2000 Award (Agriculture Fisheries Forestry Australia) for "Sustained high quality performance and outstanding services to regional and local communities."

Awarded the Order of Australia Medal in 1990 for services to Local Government and Conservation.
